The African Multinational Corporations Forum (AMCF)

The African Multinational Corporations Forum (AMCF) is a nonprofit organization bringing together African multinational corporations, experts, academia and related organizations to explore, review and address issues, opportunities and ideas arising from the African multinational corporations sector. AMCF provides a regional roundtable of Multinational Corporations to foster dialogues among multinational corporations, large scale enterprises, and industrial leaders who are engaged in cross-border production, trade, economic exchanges and cooperation in Africa. AMCF collaborates with African Emerging Markets Innovations (AEMI) and other regional organizations and authorities. 

OBJECTIVES.           The objectives of this Forum shall be to:


1.      Provide a platform of sharing ideas, issues, challenges, opportunities and practices facing the Multinational Corporations in Africa.

2.      Create a collective voice for African Multinational Corporations.

3.      Set up an interactive platform for foreign and Indigenous multinational corporations, hold exhibitions according to the development of the market and industry, carry out   international activities for exchange and promotion, and provide consultative and guiding advisory services for foreign and Indigenous multinational corporations.

4.      Promote sustainable development of foreign and indigenous multinational corporations operating in Africa, as well as the exchange and cooperation between African and foreign multinational corporations.

5.      Promote growth and development of African multinational corporations.

6.      Network, foster, support and promote the development of African Multinational Corporations, and promote the healthy growth of African economies.

7.      Forge a bridge of exchange and contact between the foreign and indigenous Multinational        corporations and African governments, provide services that help African multinational corporations to expand their businesses and help them acquaint to African business practices, ethical trading and laws.

8.      Set standard practices for African Multinational Corporations which contribute to the millennium development goals.

9.      Promote the localization process of foreign multinational corporations in Africa.

10.  Provide legal consultations and network information service, statistics and economic data.

11.  Inform and publicize periodicals and relevant regional regulations.

12.  Help control malpractices and misconceptions in the Multinational Corporations sector in Africa.

13.  Provide a regional think tank for African Multinational Corporations.

14.  Harmonize Multinational Corporations with the African Business Environment and Principles.
